Precision matters most when mistakes are expensive.

The challenge

A sloped staircase required accurately shaped glass balustrade panels. The specified extra-clear 12+12 mm laminated glass with an SGP interlayer was expensive, making incorrect fabrication dimensions especially costly.

SpotOn’s approach

Using a Leica DISTO S910 and point-to-point measurement, SpotOn captured the necessary geometry directly on site. The dimensions were then processed with CAD tools to prepare engineering drawings.

What we delivered

The client received engineering dimensions and drawings to support ordering and manufacturing the bespoke glass panels.

Value to the client

For expensive custom glass, the cost of a dimensional error can far exceed the cost of surveying. Reliable site measurements help reduce that risk before the order is placed.

Precision matters most when mistakes are expensive.
