Accurate data for better cladding planning.
The challenge
Aluminum cladding needs a dependable reference for the existing building geometry. Differences between the constructed facade and design assumptions can complicate panel layouts and connections.
SpotOn’s approach
SpotOn used 3D laser scanning to capture the building conditions required for the project.
What we delivered
The measurement data was prepared to support the cladding engineering and design work undertaken by our partner, Orlanda Engineering.
Value to the client
By separating accurate site capture from the subsequent engineering design, the project team could work from a shared record of existing conditions.
